Say this for Tim Walz — he knows what a room full of Packers fans want to hear.
Speaking to a group in Manitowoc, Wis., on Monday, the Democratic candidate for Vice President took a shot at the Bears.
“We’re leaving it all on the field — unlike the Bears, I might add,” he said. “They earned it too.”
Walz, a Vikings fan, was referencing Sunday night’s botched Hail Mary coverage. Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson was gesturing toward fans when the ball was snapped. He scrambled toward the middle of the field and jumped for the ball — which was tipped and caught by the Commanders’ Noah Brown, the player Stevenson was supposed to be covering.
