Three takeaways from the Bears-Cowboys game:
The JP Holtz Game? The Bears found an obscure secret weapon Thursday. The tight end hadn’t caught a pass in almost two months — he had two catches for 16 yards on Oct. 6 and one for seven yards the week before. In the first half, though, he caught one pass for 30 yards, another for 19 and a third for seven. It was welcome production for a team desperate for tight end help.
Wimsy. Receiver Javon Wims might have cost the Bears four points when he was flagged for an illegal block above the waist on Anthony Miller’s 11-yard catch on third-and-10.
