Tight end Jesper Horsted has to hate seeing the preseason end. Between the second half of the Colts game and the first half of the Titans game, he totaled seven catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Amazingly, the converted Princeton receiver posted the Bears’ only two receiving touchdowns of the preseason.
Caldwell carries
Need another reason to think the NFL preseason is silly? No Bears skill position player touched the ball more than running back Josh Caldwell over the final two preseason games. With the Bears’ top three running backs in mothballs, the Bears have let Caldwell take the brunt of the hits at that position.
