The Chicago Bears have announced that they are bringing tight end Rob Housler back on a one year deal.
Housler was a late addition to the team last year after they put starting tight end Martellus Bennett on injured reserve. The Bears are Housler's third team through five years after originally being a third round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in the 2011 NFL Draft. He was in Arizona until 2014, then with the Cleveland Browns in 2015 before being waived/injured in November.
He played the final 4 games of the season last year for the Bears, making 3 catches for 27 yards.
