To say Matt Nagy hasn’t begun to win over his peers by simply being an antithesis of John Fox would be an understatement. The 39-year-old first time head coach has made an off-season out of proving to be transparent, innovative, and lively: the exact opposite of his predecessor.
Nowhere was that more evident than this past week’s NFL owner’s meetings where Nagy did not relent from sharing his elaborate design for what he’ll push the Bears to become. A refreshing ideal that Chicago is not quite used to. A mindset that has general manager Ryan Pace beaming with yet another verbal crutch about “excitement.
