The Bears are on to New England for the last time

Some quarterback and coach combinations just have your number. This is a fact the Bears are familiar given their recent dealings in Green Bay. But it also extends outside of their division to a team they meet sparingly in the Patriots. During the illustrious run of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick over roughly the last two decades, Chicago has had only four opportunities (due to conference separation) to beat New England. They have fallen short every time, most often in humiliating fashion, to the modern class of the NFL.

With Brady now in his early 40s, 2018’s bar-setting matchup this October easily paints a picture of the Bears getting their last shot at overcoming greatness for once.
