LONDON — The Bears are down to their emergency long snapper — tight end Cole Kmet — after Scott Daly hurt his knee covering a punt in the first quarter Sunday.
Daly spent several minutes on the ground before walking gingerly to the sideline, where he was evaluated in the blue medical tent and quickly ruled out with a knee injury.
Teams do not carry more than one long snapper. The Bears turned to their emergency long snapper — starting tight end Cole Kmet. He snapped for the first time in the NFL after scoring a touchdown, too.
