LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears have opened the 21-day practice window for rookie wide receiver Kevin White, a league source confirmed on Tuesday.
White, who has spent the entire season on the physically unable to perform list, is expected to stretch with the team and do side work on Tuesday, per the source.
By league rule, the Bears have until the end of the 21-day period to elevate White to the 53-man roster, or place him on season-ending injured reserve.
The No. 7 overall pick of the 2015 NFL draft, White had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left shin in late August.
