The Chicago Bears are in year two of a defensive overhaul. Should they really extend one of the holdovers from the 4-3 days?
Rumors have been circulating that the Bears may be trying to work out a contact extension for defensive end-turned-outside linebacker Willie Young.
Young is entering this third season with the Bears and the final year of the $9 million deal he inked in 2014 under former GM Phil Emery.
However, Young has outplayed that deal and has actually become one of the bright spots on a bad defense.
