The last time the Chicago Bears had a great Clemson quarterback under center was over 30 years ago, when Steve Fuller backed up the position from 1984 to 1986. Not only did Fuller earn a Super Bowl ring during his time in Chicago, but he became a rap star with a gold record thanks to his iconic verse in the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Fuller’s #4 was retired by Clemson in 1979, but back in 2014 he gave his blessing for incoming freshman Deshaun Watson to don his number four. Watson went on to have a remarkable collegiate career, one capped off by a National Championship, and come this April, Watson could join Fuller as a first round draft pick in the NFL.
