Bears safety Jaquan Brisker was ruled to have a concussion Monday evening, one day after his team beat the Panthers and is not on the squad’s charter flight to London. He first reported symptoms Monday afternoon.
Brisker has not been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Theoretically, he could clear concussion protocol and rejoin the team.
The Bears are flying overnight to London. They will practice there Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Brisker has been one of the Bears’ best defensive players this season. In Week 4, he was a candidate for NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording an interception and a near-miss on a second one, as well as a sack.
