The Bears have 21 players due to hit some form of free agency next week, headlined by safety Adrian Amos and slot corner Bryce Callahan. The Bears have limited cap space, which likely prevents them from signing any of this year’s big-ticket free agents (like Le’Veon Bell, if they even would’ve wanted him anyway).
Most of what Ryan Pace will be expected to do in the coming weeks will be to fill out his team’s depth chart. The only starters on offense or defense who could depart in free agency are Amos and Callahan; add in punter Pat O’Donnell in there and there aren’t many glaring holes Pace needs to address in free agency.
