ESPN’s Dan Graziano is reporting that Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith will be sidelined indefinitely while dealing with a personal issue. His sources tell him that Smith hasn’t been acting like himself the ‘past week or so,’ and the team will give him the time he needs to deal with it.
At Monday's press conference, head coach Matt Nagy refused to give any details on the matter, except saying it was “personal,” despite fielding several questions from the media.
The Chicago Tribune’s Rich Campbell reported on WSCR yesterday that Smith’s name was not on the police report in regards to the wrecked car rumor that was circulating on social media, but Nagy would not confirm or deny if Smith’s current issue is legal related.
