Yesterday Chicago Bears' kicker Robbie Gould went 2 for 2 on field goals in the Bears comeback win over the Kansas City Chiefs, to push his season total to 11 for 11. But it was his 2nd field goal in K.C. that made history.
In the 3rd quarter, with a snap by Thomas Gafford and a hold by Pat O'Donnell, Robbie Gould connected on a 30 yard field goal for points 1,116, 1,117 and 1,118, to surpass Kevin Butler's franchise record of 1,116 points.
Besides holding Chicago's scoring record, Gould is also their all time leader in field goals made (254), field goals of 50 yards or more (19) and longest field goal (58 yards).
