Safety Ryan Mundy was placed on season-ending injured reserve, according to multiple reports.

Mundy, sidelined this preseason with a hip injury, came over to the Bears following the 2013 season and was the team's leading tackler last season. He started all 16 games and led the team with four interceptions, scoring a touchdown on one of those interception returns.
