The Bears took a chance on Ray McDonald this offseason, and before he's even put on a Bears uniform, the veteran defensive lineman is reportedly embroiled in more legal trouble.
According to a report from NBC Bay Area's Damian Trujillo, McDonald was arrested on a domestic violence charge this weekend.
There was some mild controversy this offseason when the Bears signed McDonald knowing of his recent troubled history.
McDonald was arrested in August for domestic violence, though after several months of investigation, no charges were filed. His former employer, the San Francisco 49ers, cut McDonald in December when he was named as a suspect in a sexual assault investigation.
