The Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs is reporting that the Chicago Bears are hiring Bill McGovern as their new inside linebackers coach.
McGovern was a defensive assistant last year for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but he spent the previous seven years coaching linebackers with the Eagles and the Giants.
Before making the jump to the NFL he had been coaching in the college ranks since 1985.
