Earlier today, we got the first bit of Chicago Bears' new stadium news in a while when it was revealed on Chicago's 670 The Score that "multiple sources have confirmed to the Parkins and Spiegel Show that the Bears are doing due diligence on the viability of the South Lot as a location for their next stadium."
Their sources indicate that the franchise is using the same firm, Compass Land Surveying Aurora, that was used to survey the Arlington Heights property and other possible locations.
This isn't the first time we've had a report that the Bears are looking into remaining within the city limits, but we've also heard about talks with Waukegan, Naperville, Rockford, and Aurora, to name a few.
