Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was the only first-round rookie to play Sunday. Amazingly, the three others all had a Week 14 bye.
Here’s how all four are faring about three-quarters through their first season:
No. 1 overall pick: Bears QB Caleb Williams
Among rookie quarterbacks, Williams ranks third in passing yards, third in passer rating and second in passing touchdowns. He has been sacked 56 times this year, almost twice as the next-closest rookie. Daniels has 29.
No. 2 overall pick: Commanders QB Jayden Daniels
Daniels has by far the best odds to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year — you’d need to bet $250 to win $100 — though the Commanders have slid down the standings.
