With what’s going on in the world, it’s easy to forget that the 2020 NFL Draft is basically right around the corner. This means that we’re less than two weeks away from league-wide hand-wringing, twitter frustration, and fan “conversations” about which team pulled in the best players. As it is every year, it should be a wild time.
And when it comes to the Chicago Bears, I personally won’t be surprised to see conversations about Wide Receivers heat up as we get closer and closer to April 23rd — with the departure of Taylor Gabriel, the struggles of Anthony Miller, and Riley Ridley’s failure to find playing time in 2019, the Bears may look to bring in another pass-catcher with, well, any of their top five or six picks.
