Phil Emery is not very well liked by Chicago Bears fans. That might be the understatement of the century.
Emery took over as the Bears' general manager in 2012. During his three-year tenure with the team, he completely destroyed any future they may have had. Part of his failure was due to his poor money management in free agency. Part of his failure was due to his choosing to hire Marc Trestman as the team's head coach over Bruce Arians. The worst thing about his tenure, though, was his inability to draft.
Only five of Emery's 20 picks as general manager are still on the team, and only three of them are current starters.
