Q-rating: Bears reportedly sign safety Quintin Demps

While everyone waits for the late afternoon for official word on the Mike Glennon signing, the Bears’ other early free agent signing seems to be Houston safety Quintin Demps, who is reportedly signing a three-year, $13.5 million deal that pays the veteran $5 million in 2017, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

On Thursday morning, before the news broke, Demps tweeted that he was on his way to Chicago and gave a shout-out to the unofficial mayor, Chance the Rapper.

Former Bears safety Antrel Rolle gave his blessing, even after his displeasure during his short stay with the team.
