Bears fans, I’ve done a lot of Matt Nagy defending. A lot. But after what took place in Los Angeles last night, there’s no way to avoid saying it — the Bears’ game against the Rams was a Matt Nagy nightmare that include mismanaged timeouts, terrible execution, an atrocious initial game-plan, minimal in-game adjustments, poor play-calls on big downs, and even a bombshell 4th quarter Brian Griese quote that suggests a rift between the coach and his hand-picked quarterback.
The game was terribly un-fun to watch and managed to undo almost all the hope I’d had for the formerly 5-1 Bears, so I brought on none other than WCG’s own steady hand, Lester Wiltfong Jr, to help me break down this game and lay criticism appropriately.
