Chicago Bears fans know firsthand the frustration that comes from watching your team struggle at General Manager. It was a breath of fresh air when Phil Emery was shown the door, after a couple years of asinine draft picks and a head coach who lost the locker room in just his second year in Chicago. When Emery’s desk was cleaned out, the Bears brought in Ryan Pace, and after over half a decade of Pace’s decisions, the results are mixed to put it gently.
A recent poll found that 79% of Bears fans are gaining confidence in Ryan Pace’s decision-making, but that’s with a large boost after the team traded-up to draft quarterback Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
