The Chicago Bears are hosting the Denver Broncos next week, and Peyton Manning could be sidelined.
The Denver Broncos main story line this season revolved around whether Peyton Manning was washed up and beginning to show signs of his age, but when a team starts out 7-0 with a future first ballot Hall of Famer at the helm, those story lines don't matter much to a team's front office.
Fast-forward two weeks, and the Broncos have dropped two games in a row, and Manning is playing the worst football of his career. He was benched at the end of the Broncos loss on Sunday to the Kansas City Chiefs after throwing four interceptions, despite earlier in the game setting an NFL record for all-time record for passing yards in a career.
