After a career year where he racked up six sacks and 42 tackles from his defensive line spot for the Chicago Bears, Nick Williams is signing with the Detroit Lions on a two-year, $10 million deal according to Adam Caplan.
The 30-year old Williams was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2013, and he first appeared in an NFL game with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014. He played 21 games as a reserve in K.C. before appearing in five towards the end of the 2016 season with the Miami Dolphins.
