NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told all 32 teams they must close their facilities starting 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. The league will reassess the decision on April 8.
There are limited exceptions to the ruling. Team facilities will remain open to staff members providing medical treatment to players; employees who maintain the facility’s security; and IT employees who make it possible for employees to work remotely.
Teams are free conduct normal business operations in the meantime, such as signing players and evaluating draft prospects.
