NFL Notes: Rex Ryan, Roger Goodell, Chad Kelly, Bears

On Monday, ESPN announced that former Jets and Bills HC Rex Ryan will, in fact, be joining their NFL coverage for the 2016 season.

“Rex is authentic — what you see is what you get, and that will be great for our viewers on Sunday NFL Countdown,” ESPN senior coordinator producer Seth Markman said. “We also look forward to the insight and perspective he will bring to the show as an NFL coach who has worked in the league for two decades.”

Pro Football Talk is reporting that Ryan receives $300,000 per year as part of his contract with ESPN while the Bills will pay him another $5.
