The Chicago Bears signed Mike Glennon as their starting quarterback this off season, and the coaches felt he did just enough during camp and preseason to keep that job for the regular season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
Rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who began camp third on the depth chart behind veteran Mark Sanchez, has impressed enough to be named number two for week one.
Earlier today, head coach John Fox said of Trubisky, "He earned that spot," and that "everyone was impressed how fast he picked things up.
