When Cameron Meredith was in middle school, he spent one memorable summer day at Olivet Nazarene University with his parents watching his favorite football team practice.
Nearly a decade later the Chicago area native hopes to see Bears training camp from a whole different perspective after signing with his hometown team as an undrafted free agent receiver.

“I remember when I was 13 years old I went to my first training camp in Bourbonnais and I saw guys like Chris Harris and Rex [Grossman] was still there,” said Meredith, a 6-3, 207-pound converted quarterback who helped Illinois State reach the FCS championship game last season.
