All season the coach of the year debate has been on. Frank Reich, Andy Reid, Pete Carroll and others have all receivers nominations. However, none have a resume to stand up to Matt Nagy. While some will see it as a meaningless victory, with the Bears making up no ground, Matt Nagy cemented himself as the coach of the year in 2018.
While the Bears had nothing to play for, they also did not want to play the Vikings in three straight weeks. Why not beat the team right then and there and eliminate a division rivals team in their own house?
