In retrospect, the Bears moved running back Tarik Cohen around to different spots too much toward the end of last year, Nagy said.
“We moved [him] around a lot last year, and I do feel like there was a time probably later in the season where we probably gave him a little bit too much,” Nagy said. “And when you mentally drain them it pulls them back physically.”
Cohen — who lines up wide and in the slot — is what the Bears call an “adjustor.” So is new receiver Cordarrelle Patterson and the team’s “U” tight ends: Trey Burton, Ben Braunecker and other pass catchers.
