Late in the Chicago Bears’ 24-10 victory against the New York Jets, starting right guard Kyle Long had his right foot rolled up on by tight end Dion Sims. Long had to be helped off the field and he was carted to the locker room. The injury wasn’t Sims’ fault, it was just one of those things that happens in an NFL pile.
Long was spotted in the Soldier Field locker room on crutches, but the Bears are hopeful this is only a minor setback. Head coach Matt Nagy said the team would keep their “fingers crossed that he’s OK.
