Scott Morrow has never seen the Chicago Bears field a true franchise quarterback. Morrow, 41, was shot while walking through Humboldt Park. While all of the normal thoughts went through his head—family, friends, obligations—he apparently also had time for hope. In this case, the hope of seeing a franchise quarterback in Navy and Orange.
However, Fields did more than just inspire Morrow indirectly. He also visited the recovering gunshot victim in person. Fields and his parents visited gunshot victim, who is still in need of a lot of medical care. He brought a jersey and perhaps a bit more hope to a fan going through a very difficult time.
