Joe Schad, who covers the Miami Dolphins for the Palm Beach Post, is reporting the the Dolphins are signing defensive tackle John Jenkins to a 1-year contract.
The 31-year Jenkins played in 11 games last year with the Chicago Bears as a reserve nose tackle, and he had 21 tackles, 1 pass defensed, and a QB hit during that time. That was his second stint in Chicago as he also played with the Bears in 2017.
He previously played for the ‘Fins in 2019, so he’ll join a team he’s already familiar with.
