LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- John Fox is undeterred by the Chicago Bears' 2-4 record.
“In my mind there’s no doubt we’re going to get there,” Fox said on Monday. “It’s hard for me to put an exact time frame on it.”
Lucky for Fox, time is on his side.
Although patience is a rare commodity in professional sports, the organization is committed to Fox and his methods. The last thing Bears ownership wants is to start from scratch after burning through a pair of general managers and head coaches in three-plus seasons.
Fox will receive ample opportunity to reverse the franchise’s fortunes.
