The Chicago Bears are a quarter of the way into their 2017 season, so this is a good time to reflect on the job being done by the head coach and general manager.
The Bears are 1-3, with two bad losses sprinkled around a game they could have won but didn’t, and a game they someone found a way to win against a much better team. I’d like to say that inconsistency has been a theme of the John Fox era, but that would’t be accurate. Fox is 10-26 as head coach of the Bears, and during that time his teams have only won consecutive games twice.
