The Chicago Bears have recently made some major changes to their coaching staff. Out with the old and in with the new they say. With Bill Lazor stepping in for Mark Helfrich at the offensive coordinator position, no one would have expected that Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace could have convinced John DeFilippo to step in as the Bears quarterbacks coach.
The move was a shock for two reasons. First, Dave Ragone was retained as the Bears quarterbacks coach at the end of the season. No one could have expected the Bears were looking to bring in someone else for a filled position.
