Bears back up tight end and special teamer Daniel Brown is signing with the New York Jets, per multiple reports. Brown unleashed the news in his own way on his Twitter:
Brown has been with the Bears since 2016, after entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens out of James Madison.
Brown has been “a guy,” along with Ben Braunecker, backing up Zach Miller and more recently, Adam Shaheen, Dion Sims and Trey Burton.
