After skipping the voluntary portion of the Bears offseason program, receiver Alshon Jeffery reported to Halas Hall Monday for this week's mandatory minicamp.
"I feel great to be back with my teammates and I look forward to competing and having fun with my teammates," Jeffery told ChicagoBears.com.
Jeffery, who has been working out on his own in Florida, signed the franchise tender he received from the Bears in March, guaranteeing him a contract for the 2016 season that's equal to the average of the NFL's five highest paid receivers. The two sides have until July 15 to reach a long-term agreement.
