The Jay Cutler era sure was something for the city of Chicago. From the second the Bears sent Kyle Orton, their 1st and 3rd round draft picks in 2009, and a 1st in 2010 to the Denver Broncos for Cutler and a 2009 5th round pick, he immediately became the most polarizing figure in Chicago sports.
Some fans expected Jay to become the next Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, some fans hated the idea of trading away so many draft picks, some fans resented the way Cutler “forced” the trade out of Denver and some fans were just happy to have a legitimate starting quarterback on their favorite team.
