NASHVILLE, Tenn. — There’s been a plausible assumption that no matter how bad it got for the Bears, they were in good enough position to make the playoffs this season merely by beating the bad teams on their schedule.
They burst that bubble Sunday.
This performance was bad enough to lose to any team in the NFL and maybe even Alabama. In a season when scoring is at an all-time high, the Bears narrowly averted being shut out in their 24-17 loss to the Titans at Nissan Stadium.
Make no mistake: This team is capable of anything — in the worst way.
