Rebuilds take time, and there’s always a tipping point where it seems obvious if it’s on the right track, or if it looks bleak and another fresh direction is needed. I think that tipping point for the Chicago Bears is coming this season. General manager Ryan Pace has his head coach, he has his quarterback, and he’s had three years to work on turning over the roster.
There needs to be some significant improvements in 2018. Another five win season isn’t going to cut it. If first time head coach Matt Nagy looks out of his element, or of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky doesn’t take a step as a professional passer, then Ryan Pace could be out of a job.
