MINNEAPOLIS — The Bears can’t get hardly anything going offensively and trail the Vikings 13-0 at halftime at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Bears have failed on two fourth downs and paid for it both times.
They went for it on their opening possession on fourth-and-one at their own 39-yard line, and D’Andre Swift was stopped for no gain. The Vikings turned that into a field goal. The Bears tried again on fourth-and-one at the Vikings’ 29 rather than kick a field goal, and Swift again couldn’t pick up a yard.
The Bears are 0 for 5 on third down and have 107 yards of total offense.
