Much like former Bears running back Thomas Jones, former NFL star and Illinois graduate Simeon Rice pursued a career in film after he retired from football.
But instead of appearing in front of the camera, Rice works hard behind it.
The Chicago native, who attended Mount Carmel High School, made the transition from the football field to the theaters, where he wrote and directed the upcoming movie 'Unsullied,' which is set to be released on Aug. 28.
Rice chatted with Comcast SportsNet on Tuesday, and joined SportsTalk Live to talk about his upcoming film and the process of creating it.
