Although it happens every year, there’s pretty much nothing more inevitable than football fans overreacting to their team’s Free Agency moves before the moves’ contract details are fully made public. This means that opinions about various moves can totally change over the month or two following a player’s initial signing, and the Chicago Bears’ deal with former Seahawk Germain Ifedi is a perfect example of why.
Because of this, I decided to grab a few analysts from around Bears’ twitter (Dan DeYoung, Khari Thompson, and Brad Spielberger) to “react” to Free Agency one last time — we talk about all of the major signings and whether or not our opinions about them have changed before finally wrapping up with our thoughts on GM Ryan Pace (contained in Part 2, out soon).
