When you look back at Chicago Bears history, Jay Cutler is the best quarterback this team has ever seen. Well, at least until they drafted Justin Fields this year. Alright, I am probably getting ahead of myself on that one. This is about Jay Cutler and not about Fields.
Jay Cutler is the closest this team has seen to a franchise quarterback in decades. Eight seasons as the starting QB was a decent run. Unfortunately, there were plenty of ups and downs. From a franchise perspective though, the man known as “Smokin’ Jay”, leads the Chicago Bears record books with 23,443 passing yards.
