The Bears chose to double-dip along the offensive line in the 2021 NFL Draft, selecting Missouri offensive lineman Larry Borom with the No. 151 overall pick.
A two-year starter for the Tigers with experience at both tackle and guard spots, Borom is a mauler of a blocker who plays with a mean streak and a willingness to pummel defenders into the dirt. He is a high-quality run blocker who has shown some promise blocking on the move in an outside-zone blocking scheme.
Though fairly raw — his pad level needs work, and there are concerns surrounding his conditioning — Borom projects as a high-end backup option early in his career who can potentially develop into a starter over time.
