ARLINGTON, Texas -- Chicago Bears running back Jeremy Langford wore a walking boot on his right foot to protect the ankle he injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s 31-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Under normal circumstances, a starting running back leaving the game is a terrible development. But rookie fifth-round pick Jordan Howard played well in Langford's absence, rushing for 45 yards on nine attempts and catching four balls for an additional 47 yards.
“I felt pretty good getting a lot of playing time and getting a lot of work,” Howard said.
