Former Bears coach Matt Nagy has gotten himself back in the mix for head-coaching jobs.
Nagy has been floated by national media outlets as a candidate in the last few weeks, and NFL Network reported Monday the Jets requested permission from the Chiefs to interview him for their vacancy.
Nagy, 46, was fired by the Bears after the 2021 season along with former general manager Ryan Pace. In four seasons as head coach, Nagy went 34-31 and made the playoffs twice.
Nagy said of his mistakes as Bears head coach, “I’ve got to use those to make me better.
